On April 27, 2012, InterBank, headquartered in Maple Grove, Minn., was closed by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) named as receiver. Springfield, Mo.-based Great Southern Bank entered into a purchase and assumption agreement with the FDIC to acquire substantially all deposits and other liabilities of InterBank.

We are committed to making the transition as easy as possible for you.

Please be assured that the deposits in your accounts are safe and readily accessible. You can continue to bank as normal at your existing InterBank location, and continue to use your InterBank checks and ATM/debit card.
